Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

At Serif & Co., we take pride in supplying quality products and ensuring every order is carefully prepared and inspected before dispatch.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order, as it forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

No Returns or Exchanges on Stock Purchases

Serif & Co. does not offer returns, exchanges, credits, or refunds on products purchased for resale, bulk stock purchases, wholesale orders, blank apparel, or standard stock items simply because:

* The customer did not sell the products

* The customer ordered too much stock

* The customer changed their mind

* The customer no longer requires the products

* The customer ordered the incorrect sizes, colours, or quantities. Colours may different slightly according to images generated. 

* The customer’s business needs have changed.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all quantities, sizes, colours, and products ordered are suitable for their intended use before completing a purchase.

Serif & Co. does not operate on a sale-or-return basis.

Personalized and Custom-Made Products

All personalized, printed, branded, custom-made, or made-to-order products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

This includes products featuring:

* Names or initials

* Business logos

* Custom artwork

* Personalized text

* Special colour requests

* Custom printing or embroidery

* Made-to-order designs

Because these products are manufactured specifically for the customer, they cannot be resold or returned once production has commenced.

Customers are responsible for checking and approving:

* Spelling

* Names

* Sizes

* Colours

* Design layouts

Serif & Co. cannot be held responsible for customer-approved errors.

Manufacturing Defects and Incorrect Items

We will gladly investigate claims relating to:

* Manufacturing defects

* Printing defects

* Faulty workmanship

* Incorrect items supplied by Serif & Co.

Claims must be reported within 5 business days of receiving the order.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

How to Submit a Claim

To report a manufacturing defect or incorrect item, customers must provide:

* Order number

* Full description of the issue

* Clear photographs of the product

* Photographs showing any defects or errors

* Photographs of the packaging (if applicable)

Failure to provide sufficient information may delay or prevent the claim from being processed.

Inspection Process

All approved claims are subject to inspection by Serif & Co.

We reserve the right to:

* Request additional photographs

* Request the product be returned for inspection

* Arrange courier collection where necessary

* Reject claims where no manufacturing defect exists

A claim will only be approved once the product has been assessed and the defect has been confirmed.

Approved Claims

If a claim is found to be valid, Serif & Co. may, at its sole discretion:

* Repair the product

* Replace the product

* Provide a store credit

* Issue a refund

The remedy offered will depend on the nature of the defect and product availability.

Items Not Eligible for Refund, Return or Exchange

The following are specifically excluded from refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits:

* Unsold stock

* Bulk stock purchases

* Wholesale orders

* Blank apparel purchased for resale

* Clearance or sale items

* Personalized products

* Custom-made products

* Customer ordering mistakes

* Incorrect size selections

* Incorrect colour selections

* Incorrect quantities ordered

* Minor colour differences caused by screen or monitor settings

* Damage caused after delivery

* Improper washing or care

* Normal wear and tear

* Claims submitted more than 7 business days after delivery

Consumer Protection

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that customers may have under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

Where required by law, Serif & Co. will comply with all obligations relating to defective products and consumer rights.
